There are a number of things that we would like to do in the future, such as:- More nature trail hikes and clean ups.
- Visit the Pasadena animal shelter to learn our community’s challenges and resources regarding native animals and pets.
- Interact with an elderly residence facility to connect our youth’s vitality with the wisdom and spirit of our elderly population.
- Take part in a (near) zero-energy day at home to explore the possibilities and ramifications of lowering our global energy needs.
- Select a fun destination on the LA metro rail system to explore and/or expose our children to the needs and benefits associated with public transportation.
- Jane Goodall’s next annual visit to Griffiths Park in September 2008.
- A fund raising activity to illustrate that for even some of the best causes, grass roots ideas and energy are needed to make positive changes.
